Bobby hails from an impressive family golf pedigree. Bobby's father Billy had a distinguished playing career qualifying for the U.S Open 8 times prior to becoming the head golf professional at the Stanwich Club.   His grandfather was the legendary Johnny Farrell, who won 25 professional tournaments, played on the first three Ryder Cup tournaments,  and won the 1928 U.S.Open in an epic 36 hole match against the great Bobby Jones.
