Bobby Farrell

PGA Head Golf Professional


Bobby began his career at the Stanwich club and was named Tamarack's head golf professional in 2003.   Highly regarded by our membership as a superb teacher and consummate professional, Bobby has been a Class A PGA member since 1991. 

Bobby hails from an impressive family golf pedigree. Bobby's father Billy had a distinguished playing career qualifying for the U.S Open 8 times prior to becoming the head golf professional at the Stanwich Club.   His grandfather was the legendary Johnny Farrell, who won 25 professional tournaments, played on the first three Ryder Cup tournaments,  and won the 1928 U.S.Open in an epic 36 hole match against the great Bobby Jones.   

  

Ted Kimmel

PGA Golf Professional

Born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. Ted began playing competitive golf at age 13 and spent 4 years on the Varsity Golf Team.  Ted attended Campbell University in North Carolina and was enrolled in the PGM (Professional Golf Management) program. He received two degrees, a Bachelors in Business Administration and a MBA, he also earned his PGA membership.  In the summer of 2002, Ted interned at Sleepy Hollow Country Club and Southern Hills Country Club in 2003.  The last 6 years have been spent at Tamarack Country Club in the capacity of PGA Assistant Golf Professional.  He placed T16 in the 2015 CT Open and reached a playoff in the 2015 US Open local qualifier at Elmwood Country Club.

Ryan Kalista

PGA Golf Professional

Ryan Kalista has been a PGA Assistant Golf Professional at Tamarack since 2014. Ryan is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Methodist University and was elected to membership of the PGA of America in 2007.  Ryan has become an accomplished player both on the local and national level, as well as an expert instructor, club fitter, tournament organizer, and membership coordinator. You can find Ryan in the golf shop, on the driving range, or on the golf course helping the members of Tamarack enjoy the game of golf.
